Crosby is located in Sefton and has a 22 km coastline. It is the largest dune area in England (17km) and is home to golden beaches, rolling sand dunes, pine trees, rare wildlife and a range of flowers and plants.

In the north of Sefton is the Victorian seaside town of Southport , a very popular tourist town with a theme park , funfair, boating lake, pier, and good restaurants.
