Our home is located in Crosby 6 kilometres north of Liverpool and only 15 minutes by train from Liverpool City Centre with excellent transport links to other parts of the North West of England and Wales.
Free Service
If you arrive by bus or train to Crosby we will pick you up by car and give you a tour of the local area and the bus and train stations. This service is FREE
We also offer a FREE airport transfer service to and from Liverpool or Manchester for STUDENTS ONLY. For other guests it may also be free. It depends on the value of the booking.
Transport by Train
Liverpool to Crosby
Go to either Central or Moorfields train station in Liverpool City Centre. Follow the signs to the Northern line. Take the train for Southport and alight at either Waterloo station or Blundellsands/Crosby Station . It is then only a 10 minute walk to our house.
Crosby To Liverpool
From our house walk to Waterloo or Crosby/Blundellsands train stations. Take the train for Hunts Cross and alight at Moorfields Station or Central Station.
This service operates every 15 minutes and takes only 15 minutes from Liverpool to Crosby.

LOCAL TOWNS AND CITIES ON THE MERSEYRAIL NETWORK
With our local train network – Merseyrail – you can easily explore the Sefton Coast line up to the Victorian town of Southport. Travel under The River Mersey and visit The Wirral Peninsular, which includes beautiful places like Hilbre Island and New Brighton were you have the best view of the Liverpool skyline.
The beautiful Roman town of Chester is a must see too.
All these places are all less than 1 hour by train from Liverpool City Centre

Tansport by Bus
CROSBY TO LIVERPOOL
The bus stop is 1 minute walk from our house. Take the “X2” or “47” to Liverpool City Centre. The bus terminates in Queens Square very close to Lime Street Station.
LIVERPOOL TO CROSBY
Go to Queens Square bus station and take the X2 or 47. At Merchant Taylor’s School get off and walk to our house in 1 minute.
Travelling time 40 minutes approximately
You DO NOT need a passport photograph for a weekly pass.
Transport by Taxi
Taxis are very reasonably priced in Liverpool compared to other cities.
Call Delta on 0151 922 7373. Give your name and location, they will then send you an SMS message with the details of the taxi that will meet you.
Share with a maximum of 4 people and it can be cheaper than the bus or train.
There is also a black hackney taxi service, like the ones in London. You can stop these taxis in the street. They can take a maximum of 5 people, but are a little more expensive.

From Liverpool Airport (JLA) to Crosby
Take the Arriva 500 from the airport direct to Liverpool City Centre.
Then walk to Central Station which is part of the Merseyrail Network.
Take the Northern Line train towards Southport. Get off at Blundellsands / Crosby Station and we will pick you up by car.
Or
Take the 80A or 86A from Liverpool (LJLA) to Liverpool South Parkway. This train station is the closest rail station to Liverpool John Lennon Airport(LJLA), and is located approximately 2 miles from the airport. Then take the Northern Line train towards Southport. Pass through the city centre and get off at Blundellsands / Crosby Station and we will pick you up by car.

Take the train from Manchester International Airport (MIA) to Piccadilly Station which is in the centre of Manchester. From Piccadilly train station take the train to Liverpool, Lime Street Station.
The train terminates at Liverpool Lime Street. Get off and walk to Central Station which is part of the Merseyrail Network.
Take the Northern Line train towards Southport. Get off at Blundellsands / Crosby Station and we will pick you up by car, 3 minutes to our house.
